We noted recently that 225 Pacific Street didn’t take long to sell out, with the 13 units gone in five months. Looks like Phase Two, the development on Pacific, Boerum, and Atlantic may be on a similar track. The Brooklyn Eagle is reporting that there’s a list of 100 people interested in the 30 one-, two,- and three-bedroom units coming online in September of next year. And as for that retail space, the plan is to hold out for a high-end tenant along the lines of the Barney’s Co-Op that’s going in up the street.

  1. I looked at the 3 bedrooms in Phase 1. Huge apartments, with nice amenities, asking $995k, so they sold fast. I would’ve torn down the wall to the 3rd bedroom, and made a huge loft-like living room-dining room-kitchen. But, no outdoor space so ultimately I didn’t buy. I’ve heard that given the success of Phase 1, the developer is going to price Phase 2 far more aggressively.

  2. this is deep recession and housing demand low and lots of shadow inventory. So cannot be that they have people already interested, right?

  3. i hear they got a great and huge retail deal, better than crate and barrel (who needs another home store, unless BEDBATH) clothing of course what else
