Movies, Food & Booze for Dumbo
A new movie theater called reRun, connected to Dumbo’s reBar, opens this Friday — and it sounds like a great new addition to the borough. They’ll be showing films that have been popular on the festival circuit, but have yet to find mainstream distribution. Plus, they’ve got a full bar and will be serving “upscale snack food, including popcorn with duck fat or bacon fat, handmade pastries, pretzels stuffed with filling such as Savory Ground Beef or Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and beer from two rotating draft taps,” Gothamist reports. The Brooklyn Paper describes the space: “The 60 seats in the space are from old minivans, the chandeliers are made from old hubcaps, vintage cameras and projectors line the bar, and bottles of delicious booze sit atop an old Chevy bumper.”

Four More Openings
Girl-on-the-street Jane Lerner tweets about Court Street Grocers, which will be peddling cheese, cured meat and fish, bread, coffee, pantry staples, and more at 485 Court, between Nelson and Huntington… Chocolate-covered crickets and fro-yo, anyone? Grub Street says that a frozen yogurt joint with “an edge” called Wickedspoon “opens in Park Slope this Saturday, and from noon till 3 p.m., it’ll be giving away free samples, gift certificates, and T-shirts.” …Bed-Stuy-based blogger ultraclay reports that the Malcolm X Farmers Market is now open every Saturday through October from 8am to 2pm on Marion and Malcolm X Blvd, and it has expanded since last year… And ZagatBuzz says that Zenkichi, one of our favorite Williamsburg restaurants, is no longer planning on opening a Manhattan branch. Instead, they’ll “soon be opening a ‘sake and oyster’ bar adjacent to Zenkichi that will serve a ‘small, more casual menu.'” Brooklyn wins!

After the jump: The closing of relish, a review of the Castello Plan, and a tour of Brooklyn winery…

Now Closed: Relish
Williamsburg’s railcar-style restaurant has shuttered, much to the dismay of the folks at Eater. The blog confirmed the news on Monday.

Recently Reviewed: The Castello Plan
1213 Cortelyou Road (Argyle Road), Ditmas Park, (718) 856-8888
“Except for the lusty rabbit and truffled yam open-faced sandwich ($12), most of the entrees are petite and carefully composed: a stack of duck confit with tart apples would be an improvement on Thanksgiving’s main course ($11); a ‘cake’ of chilled crab meat is nearly overwhelmed by its sweet-salty tobiko topping ($9). Even better ($7 each), particularly the fat smoked sprats and boiled quail eggs on toasts slathered in turmeric mayonnaise.” [NY Times]

A Williamsburg Winery Tour
Brooklyn Winery, a new wine making center that sounds a lot like City Winery except that it’s on North 8th near Roebling in Williamsburg, is now offering hard hat tours of the space for anyone who wants to take a peek,” says Eater, whose roving photographer shares a slideshow of the space.
