When we caught construction workers pulling down the paper on the 232 Court Street storefront, we were silently hoping to find busty waitresses in orange shorts behind the glass (Imagine the community board meetings about that!) Alas, Pardon Me For Asking’s reporting is correct: behind the paper was nothing but a bunch of real estate listings. As The Real Deal confirmed this morning, the space is now home to Ideal Properties Group.

  1. In many towns, Hooters would be considered a form of harmless, randy entertainment for a guys’ night out.

Here is Brownstone Brooklyn, however, mens’ entertainment consists of stopping in front of brokers’ establishment with your wife or girlfriend and looking at the listings. We can’t get enough of it.

  2. Note to self: if I am going to open any type of establishment, put up a few joke signs about hooters or “bodywork” before I announce the actual business.

    1. Everyone will be relieved that it’s not something shady.
    2. Everyone will be paying attention to my grand opening.

  3. hooters is NOT a strip club, it’s actually quite a family friendly restaurant. im pretty sure i high chairs at one once. and they also provide crayons. i know that for a fact cuz i requested them.
