Streetlevel: New Bar for Lido Space

A couple of weeks ago, a tipster told us that the old Lido space on Columbia Street would soon be home to an ice cream shop. Now, the same tipster tells us, “My good source saying Lido on Columbia would be an ice cream joint now confirms it’ll be bar. Makes sense since the place has a liquor license.” We ran into the building’s owner while we were shooting this photo and she also confirmed that the space will be reborn as a bar — the new people should be in by August 1.
