Dubuque Coming to Court St. Soon
We’ve been keeping pretty close tabs on the burger place coming to 548 Court Street, especially since that lower stretch of Court seems to be able to do no wrong in the restaurant department these days. Well, signage is up and if all goes as planned, it’ll be open in two weeks! The name’s Dubuque….
We’ve been keeping pretty close tabs on the burger place coming to 548 Court Street, especially since that lower stretch of Court seems to be able to do no wrong in the restaurant department these days. Well, signage is up and if all goes as planned, it’ll be open in two weeks! The name’s Dubuque. We checked out the menu, which has lamb, pork, and more traditional burgers among other things for around 12 bucks a pop. The owner, who owned Red Cafe in Park Slope, seemed pretty excited to be a part of the neighborhood. He even let us take a picture of the work in progress, check it out after the jump.

I’m pretty sure that’s the $12 burger-and-a-handy deal that’s been popping up at a lot of Carroll Gardens restos.
For $12 hope it comes with some fries, or is a side going to be $6 like everywhere else in the ‘hood.
Christ on a cracker, when did $12 for a freakin’ burger become a normal thing?
