We’re not sure how this has flown under our radar given that it opened almost two months ago and has been covered far and wide, but this slick immobile mobile-home-turned-food-truck called Goods has apparently been open since the second week of June at the corner of Lorimer and Metropolitan Avenues in Williamsburg. Menu items include hamburgers, hot dogs, fish and chips and a fried green tomato sandwiches.

  1. @Jimmy Legs There was indeed an ice cream place here that also sold amazing french fries.
i have thought of those french fries for years, every time I passed by that lot.

  2. jimmylegs- yeah i remember it was italian ices, always great after a slice at sal’s- walked by it on the way to the barber’s last week, pretty busy

  3. I used to buy Christmas trees on that corner and rent videos across the street. I am curious if they’re coding as a “food truck” by DOH standards, even though they’re in a fixed location?

  4. i noticed it – it looks great. dirty is right about it transforming the corner. haven’t eaten there yet or st. anselm, but i like the menu.

  5. “Looked at the menu…doesn’t seem pricey to me. In fact, the prices seem pretty standard.”

Portions are kinda small. Nothing criminal. Most people would probably need 2 4 dollar hot dogs to make a decent meal.

Something this cool and transformative for that corner…you’d think in 2 months SOMEONE would have sent in a tip to bstoner

it’s just another over priced yup truck probably sadly run by people with ivy league educations slummin it and keeping it real :-/ cool and transformative? uhhh
