Remember that homeless shelter at 400 McGuinness Boulevard that the Brooklyn Paper wrote about recently (after the blog NY Shitty actually broke the new two weeks earlier)? Apparently residents really, really, really don’t want it in their backyard. At least, that’s what the scrawls on the building’s facade that the blog posted over the weekend would lead you to believe.

  2. In the interest of accuracy, can we change the title of this post to “ONE Greenpoint Resident Really Doesn’t Want Homeless Shelter”?

There are a lot of issues at play here, including the loft law, the wisdom of putting a homeless shelter this far away public transportation, local retail, etc., but this post is just about ONE person’s displeasure.
