The Silhouette launched at 272 21st Street this April as Brooklyn’s first residential development to achieve a LEED Platinum rating. But so far, it doesn’t look like they’ve had much luck selling the four units in this Greenwood Heights condo. The prices first ranged from $859,000 to $930,000, then took a price drop this summer. Now a two-bedroom is going for $775,000 and a top-floor one bedroom for $899,000. StreetEasy isn’t showing any takers. Think the price is still too high?

  1. Those 2 sinks in the master are so close together, i would rather have the extra counter space. Just how often are there really 2 people living in the same apartment that have to be in the bathroom at the same exact time.
To much HGTV with that shit.

ever heard of wait your damn turn.

  2. I had a broker say several times that Park Slope south started at 19th st[ other side of the expressway]. After him making this declaration 3 times i informed him that Park Slope south stopped at 18th st for me. And i looked for another broker after that.

  3. “”For 899,000 you could buy a whole house in greenwood heights and still have money left over for a car and a few vacations”

    that’s certainly not very “green””

It is if you buy one of those new electric cars and drive to all of your vacations- the car could be green too! hell I might even through in a few solar panels on the roof of the house and a composting toilet with the saved money!!

  4. you bet exp. one bed has outdoor space, beautiful building, superb finished, everything green, they really overdid it for this market but terrific got a Building Brooklyn Award, which is our own oscar for bldgs

  5. 21st St? You mean like way the hell over in Sunset Park? And they want $900k for a one bedroom??? I assume this is one of those “we have to call it a one bedroom but we all know you’re going to try to fit a family of 5 in there” type deals, but still this is just ridiculous.

Almost a million dollars for this place? GTFOOH.

  7. It doesn’t matter if I or someone else lives there. As long as somebody does it’s good for the environment.

    I’ll let someone else overpay.
