Last month, a tipster wrote in to draw our attention to work going on in the retail space at 410 Court Street in Carroll Gardens. According to one of the workers on site, the space was destined to be occupied by some kind of purveyor of fast food; the DOB permit only mentions that the former laundromat is being converted into a restaurant. Either way, it’s shaping up to be a big space: It looks like the work is encompassing both the former laundromat on the corner and the deli than was further south on Court. Anyone in the nabe heard any more chatter about what this will be?

The guy working next door says it’s going to be an… Italian restaurant. I do not have high hopes- it’s apparently the same owners as the Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins caddy corner.
