There had been very little activity for the past few weeks at Pieces and we were wondering what was up with the clothing store that’s been at 671 Vanderbilt for the past ten years. Someone on Brooklynian, however, solved the mystery: Turns out it’s closing. It’s a great space and location so it’ll be interesting to see what comes in next. GMAP
Overheard someone saying that the space was going to be split up.
Hopefully it’ll become a nice restaurant or another bar.
The store with the silly name will be missed. They always carried an interesting selection and the people who ran the place, Colin and Latisha, are very kind. I wish them all the luck.
I agree, BHO. The few times I walked into that store I walked out empty handed and I’m not a real bargain shopper when it comes clothes, but I found that place too expensive.
It’ll be cheaper than the clothes that used to occupy it.
