The latest report is that the building is nearing 80 percent sold, with more than 100 units closed and over 80 units occupied.   1. I would put one caveat on the well-designed comment: Why would the developer of any new construction intended to be sold as mid- to upscale condos do so with no ability to install washer/dryers? IMO that’s a huge design failure.

    Does anyone know what the status of the units on the Schermerhorn side is? Years ago I understood they were going to be multi-floor townhouse like units, but hvae not heard anything since.

  2. I was one who saw rentals in this building’s future, glad I was wrong! This is a great success story and another positive development for downtown BK. The team that turned this around deserves kudos.

  3. I have to say, at least this building does not look like a minimum security prison or communist-era public housing (see Atlantic Terrace posting).
    It is well designed and that must count for something.
