Community Board 2’s preliminary budget report for fiscal year 2012, which was released last week, mentions that HPD and NYCHA are looking to renovate 71, 75, 99 and 101 Waverly Avenue in Clinton Hill through the Urban Development Area Action Plan. The four properties, between Park and Myrtle, are all three-story homes, and characterized in the budget report as “long underutilized and blighted.” Elected officials have been asked to provide seed money to get the process moving. According to CB2’s Rob Perris, “Based on the conversations I have had, I believe HPD and NYCHA are looking favorably on transferring the four buildings to a not-for-profit using UDAAP.” The picture shows #99 and #101 Waverly, which sit next to the long-stalled construction site at 91-97 Waverly. Photos of #71 and #75 are after the jump.

  1. I have a two buildings on this block and I’m glad that the CB is finally giving these eyesores some attention.

However, one of the address are incorrect. Instead of 101 Waverly, it should be 110 Waverly. Please Map it and you’ll see a picture of the building in question.
