We haven’t been able to get through to a broker at 163 Washington Avenue, the Clinton Hill glass tower that hit the market in November, and now we’re wondering what’s going on with this one. StreetEasy’s page on the building seems to indicate that listings were pulled at the end of January, some of which were in contract and some of which were not. The 163 Washington website, however, shows six units in contract. So, what’s the deal? Anyone buying or looking here who can fill us in?

  1. “What’s Doing at 163 Washington?”

I’d say, “What’s due?” Or, “What’s past due?”

“i heard the bank took the building over”

Heard? I can see. Matter ‘fact, I think Hakeem Jeffries took over the building.

    The market is “roaring back”!

  2. It’s an eyesore. It towers unpleasantly above Myrtle, and of course, is mostly dark at night because nobody can either afford or want to live in it. Zoning needs to be brought down so more of these monsters don’t scar the low scale skyline.
