Here’s what we know for sure about this large triangular wedge of property bounded by Flatbush Avenue Extension, Tillary and Duffield Streets: Issac Hager’s North Development Group has razed the combination of signage and one-story commercial buildings that used to be here and plans to build a large residential building. How big? A year ago, The Real Deal reported that a 400-foot tower lay in store; more recently, in March, The New York Sun said that the building would be 21 stories with 108 units. Unless each story is close to 20 feet high, these two reports aren’t entirely consistent. Unfortunately, there’s nothing on file with DOB about the building, only demo permits. Anyone know the deal? Update: Some did know the deal and provided a link to the rendering on the Ismael Leyva site, so we’ve updated the photos above. It looks like the 21-story description was spot on.

  1. are you kidding me? This is a great building. love the round glass corner with the balconies. really cool.
Keep your grandma palaces with thirtysix layers of paint on every surface!

  2. I think its a poor render of a glass building- looks more like anodized aluminum.
A stack of curved balconies is a decent way to deal with the tight corner space.
