Trex deck panels for sale

I have 320 s/f of 5/4" x 6" Trex decking, built into sturdy panels.
They were installed 5 years ago and are in very good condition (as Trex is nearly indestructible). They have been stained a dark brown and polyurethaned, so they have a much richer finish than Trex out of the box.

There are:
--9 4' x 4' panels
--5 4' x 8' panels
--Various 2x6 planks and 4x4 posts of treated pine that form the support structure beneath

Price: $900 obo. Total amount of Trex is about 600 linear feet. Trex retails for $4 per l/f. Selling here for $1.50 per l/f. Will sell in sections too.

An excellent deal.

I hired these folks a year and a half ago to shine up and seal a carrera marble floor and shower wall in my bathroom. They did an excellent job, although I will say the grouting could have been more precise (then again, maybe the original grout wasn't great. Take good before pictures). That Alex ends his voicemail greeting with "Have a Shiny Day" only adds to the charm.

I would highly recommend Jorge Forero, who restored and repainted my co-op's cornice in Boerum Hill. 646.637.4833.

Even though this is an old question I wanted to post in defense of Metro. They re-did the whole facade of my house: re-pointed brick, re-built stoop, and restored the cornice, which included fashioning from scratch some of the carved pieces, I forget what they're called.
They did a great job, the workers were professional and courteous, and the price was fair. Just me 2 cents.

I think the DOB rules are based on Shariah law or something

The idea that ipe is considered non-flammable by the DOB is a myth. When you speak with someone from the DOB, they say that it is considered flammable. Good luck with your deck.

My advice -- Watch out for Jorge Forero. He left me hanging with a hold in the side of my cornice. Stopped returning or taking my calls. My mistake was holding too little money for the completion of the job, so he just walked and now I have to get someone new to finish his work.
