Rear Basement Framed Out

This photo was taken standing in the rear bedroom of the garden apartment. Through the framing on the right is where the bathroom will be and through the framing to the left is where the corridor will lead out to the garden. This is the only 2-window room in the house whose wood floor is not salvageable since it was the original kitchen. It's also the only large room in the house where we'll be putting up a new wall. In this case, we are doing so to create a direct route out to the garden from the main stair, as opposed to having to walk through the basement apartment to get there.
