when we had our bedroom walls replastered like this, the way the light fell on the pink mesh inspired us to go with a very pale pink paint: the unfortunately-named "Bridal Rose" from Benjamin Moore, an old-fashioned looking pink which has a good deal of gray in the mix. It's turned out to be the most beautiful color for the room -- which is east-facing -- gentle, soothing, and not at all obtrusive. Like the color of fallen magnolia blossoms. Go pink, Brownstoner.
