Moving to the Burbs? Register Now for This Event and Plot Your Best Move

Do you have questions about moving to the suburbs? Maybe Westchester? Join an evening of conversation hosted by Brownstoner Home Events, with representatives from Houlihan Lawrence.

Topics discussed at this “Moving to the ‘Burbs” event will be the advantages of suburban vs. city living and a description of the many charms of neighborhoods including the Sound Shore area, Bedford/Pound Ridge and Greenwich, Conn.

One topic to be explored will be the differences between city and suburban home ownership, and the need to get financing arranged early in the process.

“Purchasing a home is one of the biggest transactions of a person’s life,” said Austin John Stellato, senior loan officer at Thoroughbred Mortgage, who will be speaking at the event. “Working with a mortgage professional who is local and well versed in the specific geographic lending guidelines is essential to a stress-free buying experience.”
