From the Forum: Should Brick Facades Be Sealed?
To appease their insurance company a homeowner will be dealing with the peeling paint on their brick facade, but they are wondering if once the brick is stripped they should apply a clear silicone layer.
To appease their insurance company, a homeowner will be dealing with the peeling paint on their brick facade, but they are wondering if once the brick is stripped they should apply a clear silicone layer. None of the contractors have included that in their quotes and the homeowner is concerned about the need to allow the brick to breathe.
