After the general contractor on their renovation disappeared homeowners discovered that he had not paid the electric and plumbing subcontractors.
After the general contractor on their renovation disappeared homeowners discovered that he had not paid the electric and plumbing subcontractors. The subs will not sign off on the completed work until they have been paid and the homeowners are wondering how best to proceed. They want to avoid paying twice for work, be fair to the subs and head off any possible liens on their project.
