From the Forum: Finding Replacements for Missing Stoop Ironwork

Details are missing from the ironwork on a homeowner’s stoop and they are wondering how best to restore or replicate the elements. One piece that fell off recently could be used as a sample. Should they look at getting replacements cast or should they hunt through architectural salvage yards for possible matching details?
