From the Forum: Tackling Brownstone Repair On a Budget

Repairing the entire brownstone facade isn’t in the budget right now, but with the stoop in rough shape homeowners are wondering if they should tackle the repair work in phases. Does it make sense to fix the stoop now and then do the facade later, or is it more cost effective to wait and do everything at once? What should they know before hiring someone for the project?
