From the Forum: When to Pay the Plumber After a Boiler Installation

The new gas boiler has been installed and the plumber has been pushing for full payment before the final inspection. The homeowner is a bit leery of paying the full bill in case the inspection turns up issues. What percentage of the bill should they hold until it has passed inspection?
