The neighbor’s new fence was built over the property line and a homeowner isn’t sure how best to deal with the situation. The survey shows it is only 2 inches over the line, so the homeowner has no interest in having the fence removed. Should they still inform the neighbor in writing so the encroachment is documented?
Please chime in with your advice.
