From the Forum: Will Having All the Permits Pulled for a Gut Reno Help or Hinder a Sale?

A homeowner is putting their place on the market and asking for advice on pulling permits. Should they go ahead and get permits for a full gut reno even though they may not do the work or should they leave the permit proceess up to the purchaser?
