From the Forum: Is It Wise to Move Forward With a House Purchase Right Now?

A reader is about to go into contract on their dream home but is worried about making the purchase during this uncertain time. While they don’t need to sell their co-op in order to purchase the house, the idea of carrying two mortgages is nerve wracking. If they move ahead will they be able to find contractors to do needed renovations?
