From the Forum: Soundproofing Between Rental Units After a Renovation

The renovation is complete but a homeowner has discovered that the soundproofing measures put in place haven’t quite conquered the problem. With tenants already living in the garden and parlor level apartments any changes will have to be incremental. What can they do to dampen the sounds of footsteps and music without disrupting the lives of their tenants?
