Brooklyn is remembering a native son, 20 years later.
Notorious B.I.G. is one of Brooklyn’s greatest sons — and on the 20th anniversary of his death, the borough he called home is remembering him.
Spread Art NYC is hosting an event called 20 BIG Years, an art show in honor of the late rapper. The show will feature works from local artists and take place from Friday, March 10 to Sunday, March 12 at the Bishop Gallery at 916 Bedford Avenue in Bed Stuy.
The Met Food Supermarket where Chris Wallace worked as a youth will remember him too. The first 100 customers on Thursday March 9th will receive a commemorative “Biggie Bag” in Wallace’s honor.
