Black Seed Bagels Preps to Open Second Brooklyn Shop in Williamsburg
Black Seed Bagels is expanding beyond its Bushwick and Manhattan locations and bringing its slim and chewy Montreal-style bagels to Williamsburg.
Slim and chewy Montreal-style bagels are coming to the ‘Burg. New York City chainlet Black Seed Bagels will soon open at 214 Berry Street, next to Tribeca Ped and a block from Whole Foods and Japanese grocer Ten Ichi Mart & Deli.
The bagel dough is naturally leavened and fermented, according to the company’s website. The bagels are smaller than typical bloated American specimens, boiled in honeyed water and baked in a wood-fired oven.
