Getting Literary at the Brooklyn Book Festival (Photos)

Book-inspired joy invaded Brooklyn all week thanks to the Brooklyn Book Festival. Literary stars, authors and book lovers were busy all week with literary happenings at bookstores, parks, bars and other venues as part of Bookend Events, Children’s Day on Saturday and the big festival itself Sunday.

The weather cooperated for the culminating event on Sunday. Events took place on 14 different stages and the sprawling Literary Market Place was packed with vendors and attendees chatting about literature.
