Brooklyn Heights Promenade Gains Strategically Placed Boulders to Prevent Vehicle Access
A Christmas tree isn’t the only new adornment for the Brooklyn Heights Promenade.
A Christmas tree isn’t the only new adornment for the Brooklyn Heights Promenade. Strategically placed boulders have appeared at several entrances to the pedestrian walkway.
The rough barriers were dropped into place after a drunk driver sped along the promenade in the early evening of December 2. Two boulders now adorn the Montague Street entrance and a recent walk showed individual boulders also in place at the Remsen and Clark Street entrances.
