Mingle with history advocates and enthusiasts while taking in some waterfront views at the Brooklyn Historical Society’s fourth annual gala.

Held at the Liberty Warehouse in Red Hook, the event raises funds to support BHS’s educational programming, including teacher workshops, free school tours and afterschool programs. The programs serve more than 15,000 New York City students every year.

Attendees to the gala can mingle at a cocktail hour followed by dinner, dessert and dancing. There will also be some special honorees for the evening, including Regina Myer, President of the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership and Hugh Ryan, founder of the Pop-Up Museum of Queer History.

The gala takes place on Wednesday, November 13 from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit the event page here. Brownstoner is a media sponsor of this event.
