Curious about the history behind a building but not sure how to dig deeper?
Brooklyn Historical Society is offering a chance to learn the research ropes with “If These Walls Could Talk,” a workshop led by Reference Librarian Cecily Dyer, who will share advice on where to start and what records might hold the answers you seek. Attendees will also get a chance to spend some hands-on time with documents, images and other records that make up the rich collection of the library.
The workshop takes place on Saturday, January 25 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at BHS, located at 128 Pierrepont Street in Brooklyn Heights. Tickets are $45 for general admission and $20 for members. For more information or to reserve your tickets visit the event page here.
