Author and journalist Pamela Newkirk will be leading a conversation with New York Times writer Sam Roberts about his new book “The New Yorkers: 31 Remarkable People, 400 Years, and the Untold Biography of the World’s Greatest City.” The book tells the story of the city across the centuries through tales of citizens who may have have not gotten their due, but made an important impact on the metropolis.
