Old house enthusiasts got a tantalizing peek into the historic houses in Prospect Lefferts Garden this month.
The 49th Annual tour in the tree-lined neighborhood took place on Sunday, June 2. Homeowners welcomed the curious into nine houses as well as a few gardens this year.
The weather was warm and sunny for strolling about the neighborhood with the information-packed tour booklet to each of the sites. Enterprising neighbors took the opportunity to set up stoop sales and more than a few children had lemonade stands along the route. The tour was put on by neighborhood group Lefferts Manor Asssocation.
Here are some photos of the day taken by longtime resident and volunteer Bob Marvin.
