If you are still on the hunt for some summer reads to get you through the sweltering season, head to the annual Small Press Flea this month.
Sponsored by Brooklyn Public Library and BOMB Magazine, the day-long event will feature the literary wares of more than 25 independent publishers. Among the participants are The Feminist Press at CUNY, Ugly Duckling Presse, Endless Editions, Verso Books and Seven Stories Press. You can check out the full list at the Facebook event post here.

The flea takes place on Saturday, August 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the plaza in front of the Central Library at 10 Grand Army Plaza. The event takes place rain or shine unless, according to the description, it is pouring.
