The founders of a popular vegan bakery in Clinton Hill are opening up a new bar and restaurant a few blocks away.
Called Izzy Rose, it’s set to open soon at 214 Greene Avenue, one block away from their sister establishment Clementine’s.

The restaurant will have “Instagrammable design aesthetics and a cozy, warm atmosphere,” according to a job posting.
The space has been home to a number of food establishments over the years, including Choice Greene, a raw bar called Choyster’s and the seafood restaurant Smoking Monkey. Most recently, it was home to South African restaurant Amandla, which closed after being open only a few months.
We have reached out to the owners for more information.
