The Brooklyn Women’s Exchange is hosting their semi-annual Silhouette Portraits event this month with artist Deborah O’Connor. Using her skill with a scissors, O’Connor snips each paper profile during a five minute session at the shop. Participants can take away their purchased portrait as is or pick up one of the frames available in the store. The portraits aren’t limited to human subjects, pets are welcome too.
Sessions fill up quickly and are available from Friday, November 22 through Sunday, November 24 at the Brooklyn Women’s Exchange at 55 Pierrepont Street in Brooklyn Heights. Portraits range in price. For more information on how to book a session visit the event info page.
