Inspired by Italians who have been sharing the gift of music even while under quarantine, Brooklyn neighbors are coordinating a singalong to soothe the spirit during these stressful times.
Neighbors will be serenading the community from the safety of rooftops, windows and fire escapes starting this evening, March 19, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Brooklynites across the borough are invited to participate, and so far eager singers in Park Slope, Clinton Hill and Gowanus have said they’re in. The quickly evolving group just created a Facebook event page and they’ve been compiling a song list for participants which you can check out on this Google doc.
