Casual Pasta Restaurant Coming to Smith Street Later This Month

Last month we reported an Italian restaurant was slated for 227 Smith Street, and now the restaurant owner tells us the new place will be called Pazzi Pasta. It will be a “fast-casual” pasta joint where customers can choose their own grain or pasta, sauce, and toppings. “We are a family-owned pasta shop where we make fresh pastas, breads and southern Italian style sauces in-house, using ancient grains and organic ingredients,” said owner Dan Campanile in an email. They’ll also deliver locally and sell fresh pasta to make at home. The restaurant is in the final stages of renovations and will be open within the month.
