The Crown Heights Film Festival kicks off six days of events tonight with a roundtable discussion on music and film featuring several local filmmakers and musicians. Tonight’s panel will include director and musician Dan Eberle, composer Luis Miguel Gil, Primary Wave partner and music licensing expert Robin Joseph, director and producer Chidi Ozieh, and director Manu Di Feliciantonio.
The festival will screen a mix of short and feature-length films every night this week at Five Myles Gallery at 558 St. Johns Place between Franklin and Classon. The fourth annual festival highlights films that were made in Crown Heights, as well as others shot around the world in locations like Iran, Germany, Italy and France. Above, a still from “The Words I Love.” Tonight’s discussion and meetup starts at 6:30 pm.
