Artists Show Glass, Jewelry, Furniture and Other Fine Crafts at Brooklyn Museum This Weekend
The 4th edition of the American Fine Craft Fair Show features 90 artists who work in a variety of mediums.
If you’re feeling a bit crafty this weekend, the Brooklyn Museum has something in store for you.
This Friday and Saturday November 19th and 20th, the Brooklyn Museum will play host to the 4th edition of the American Fine Craft Fair Show. The juried show will take place in the museum’s Beaux-Arts Court.
The program is being directed by Richard and Joanna Rothbard, founders of An American Craftsman gallery in Manhattan. The weekend event will feature handmade crafts, including ceramics, glass, jewelry, furniture and wearables. The exhibit will feature 90 of the nation’s best craft artists, including a few of Brooklyn’s own, such as ceramicist Micol Hernandez, jewelry designer Alex Hossick and painter Ari Gradus.
To learn more about the event or to purchase tickets, click here. A ticket for the event will also be good for admission to the Brooklyn Museum itself. Tickets cost $16 for adults, $14 for seniors, $10 for students, and are free for children 12 and under.
