Fulton Street takes a long path through the borough, and while stretches of it in Downtown Brooklyn may be familiar, there is plenty of history to be found as it makes its way through Bed Stuy.
Take a closer look at the history and architecture of the streetscape by joining Brownstoner columnist Suzanne Spellen (aka Montrose Morris) and Morgan Munsey, both preservationists, for “A Walk Down Brooklyn’s Fulton Street: Bedford Stuyvesant.” Part one of a deep dive into the neighborhood’s Main Street, the Municipal Art Society tour will focus on the stretch between Bedford and Throop avenues.
The virtual event takes place on Saturday, June 26 at 11 a.m. Tickets are $15 for members and $25 for non members. For full info on registration, visit the event page online.
