$10 admission, $5 skate rental
If you’re looking to get some hockey in this winter, look no further than Coney Island. The Abe Stark Rink is home to the Greater New York City Hockey League’s New York Stars. The rink is also open to the public for open skate sessions on the weekends all year round.

There are 175,000 square feet of indoor sports space at Aviator Sports and Events, including two NHL-sized ice rinks. The center is open 365 days a year for figure skating, ice skating, ice hockey and private event rentals.

$9 admission on weekends and holidays, $6 weekdays, $6 skate rental
The two rinks in Prospect Park are part of a $74 million dollar revitalization project to transform the southeastern corner of the park. The LeFrak Center includes two ice skating rinks, a roller rink during the summer, and a cafe overlooking the action you can hit before or after your skating session. Members of the Prospect Park Alliance get free skating days throughout the season.
