Large Karl Fischer-Designed Building Near McCarren Park 70 Percent Leased

The large rental building at 101 Bedford Avenue is 70 percent leased since listings went up in July, according to building management. The third and last group of listings in the building went on the market Sunday. The large, 350-unit building is prominently situated close to McCarren Park in Williamsburg. It was designed by Karl Fischer, who is prolific in these parts, and also designed the recently completed Landmark Park Slope. As we told the New York Daily News, we think his designs have improved a lot since the days of “Karl Fischer Row” at 20, 30, and 50 Bayard Street just across the park. What do you think?
