The first of four new but traditional-looking single family townhouses has hit the market at 449-453 Degraw Street in Gowanus, BuzzBuzz Home reported. Each of the “Four on Degraw” homes has four stories spread across 3,800 square feet.

The first house up for sale is a four-bedroom, four-bath townhouse at 451 Degraw asking $3,999,000. All the houses have features such as gas fireplaces on the garden level, multi-zoned central heating and A/C and energy-efficient tankless water heaters. The homes share a garden, roof deck and central laundry room.

  1. Bad layout, inferior location to other new townhouse developments and “somethings not right” architecture make $4m a stretch in my mind. Will be interesting to watch this one. Townhouses of Cobble Hill over this pile any day…

  2. the open space on the kitchen floor is absolutely wasted space. where the f**ck is the family supposed to sit and eat supper, on the floor?.

    the open space should be floor space to put the freaking kitchen table and chairs.
    whats wrong with these architects, don’t they ever think about how people live…..

    there are too many boxes in the windows, should be a little less though, should be 6 over 6.

  3. Asking a lot of money for the location without parking and what are the Real estate taxes going to be? There are no abatements for one family houses. I am estimating $30,000 + a year.
