Green-Wood Cemetery and Trees New York are joining together for an evening workshop to provide citizen gardeners with the right information on mulching, watering, planting tree pits and other care tips. Roughly 6,500 street trees surround the Sunset Park neighborhood adjacent to the historic cemetery and community members can help them thrive.
The program takes place on Wednesday, March 18 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Green-Wood’s chapel near the main entrance. The workshop is free but registration is required. For more information visit the Green-Wood event page here or the Trees New York registration page here.
