Forget what anyone says about finishes, details, etc.. Those rentals at 60 water street will fill up in no time flat. The pricing is a little strange since it rivals nicer Manhattan areas, but I suppose the view compensates (certainly not the neighborhood digs since those are the pits).
I don’t particularly enjoy the glass, but lets get real the brick and mortar buildings aren’t going to cut it for the asking prices of those apartments. Besides, on what planet would you ever want to hide that view in any way? I would suggest some complimentary black out curtains at each lease signing.
FWIW seeing those views makes me miss my loft in Dumbo. But then I remember it’s summer the season of 10000 weddings and I don’t miss being on the waterfront anymore.
