Williamsburg's Whisk to Open on Atlantic Avenue in Former Home of A Cook's Companion
Shoppers for kitchen wares will once again have a speciality resource on Atlantic Avenue when the new store opens this spring.
Brooklyn chefs will once again have a speciality resource on Atlantic Avenue. A sign recently popped up on the door of 197 Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn Heights indicating that Whisk, a kitchen shop which opened in Williamsburg in 2008, would be coming to the storefront this spring. The space was formerly the home to A Cook’s Companion, which closed in February after 20 years on Atlantic Avenue.

In an Instagram post showing the sign, Whisk acknowledged the much-loved former store, writing “We were also fans of A Cook’s Companion and will do our darn best to keep everyone happy with our selections.” The new Whisk location is set to open on May 1.
