A Bridge Between Neighborhoods, Part 1Yes it's very ugly and there are lots of houses just as ugly if not more in Queens. But there are plenty of people that have no taste and will pay for the space, all they know and care about is square footage (strictly interior).
Listing of the Day: 252-42 Brattle AvenueThere were two additional houses on "Sandhill RD" at one time...in the early 1970's I looked at one that was for sale. They were located on the same side of the street as 35, heading east, right in front of the area where the road widens (and some use it in winter to play hockey as it is often wet and frozen). These two houses were mirror image of each other, very tiny two story. They were occupied by an old gentleman...they are both gone now and the land grown over, wonder if there is anything left of the foundations?
Queens’ Road With Three NamesTony's Bicycles in Astoria (23rd) ruined my bike - a perfectly good one until I took it in for a tuneup and then suddenly the wheels wobbled dangerously so the bike skidded to the side when you were riding it. He kept saying it had done that before I brought it in (he literally told me I don't remember my own bike's behavior (hello misogyny much? :D)) Right After he told me he didn't notice a wobble :|. Yeah. Ok
